During the month of August children can spend a week learning about different styles of puppetry, how to make and perform with a variety of puppets and how to adapt stories into puppet shows while using music and sound effects to support their performance. Camps will take place at the Paul Mesner Puppet Studio and classes are available for all ages over 6 years.
Session one runs August 1-5, 2011 with a morning camp for ages 6 and 7 and an afternoon camp for ages 8 and up. Session two runs August 8-12 for ages 10 and older, with three different classes in either video puppetry, costume making for puppets and dolls or learning ventriloquism!
